On this informative walking tour, you’ll meet with a dedicated conservationist guide for an easy 75-minute trek along an eco-diverse trail. You’ll pass through a wide variety of terrain including grassland, forests, bushland and fern gullies and look out for numerous native creatures. Your guide will teach you about the ecology and history of the region and the important research that goes into protecting the Great Ocean Road’s threatened species.
Your route will include a short stop at the Conservation Ecology Center Research Hub where you’ll learn about some of the projects Wildlife Wonders is supporting and see the research in action. At the trailhead, you’ll find a cafe where you can relax or grab a bite to eat before or after your walk.
