On this tour, you’ll explore the Split Point Lighthouse – colloquially known as The White Queen – at your leisure. Inside the lighthouse, you can climb up to the lantern room, and out on the adjacent balcony, you’ll have 360-degree views of the rugged coastline.
The interior is set up like a museum, where you can find out about the lives of lighthouse keepers from the past, the history of the Shipwreck Coast and the present-day conservation efforts of the Marine Sanctuary below. You’ll also find a collection of fascinating historical photos which depict life in the area during the times the lighthouse was permanently manned.
