On this cruise along the Gordon River, you will depart from Strahan aboard a vessel equipped with unique electric motors that allow quiet cruising. As you take in views of the heavily forested Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, your guide will tell you stories about the region and the sights.
You will disembark on Heritage Landing where you will get to stroll amongst centuries-old trees. Afterwards, you will get to explore the ruins of a penal colony on Sarah Island. In between these walking tours, you will be served a chef-prepared buffet lunch onboard the vessel.
You will round off your tour with a free tasting of local produce in the Gordon River Cruises terminal. You can also shop for souvenirs and gifts here.
