Clean, comfortable, and great place.to stay..easy to go anywhere,free bus just a minute away from the accommodation. Night food market just in front of the door. Definitely will stay there again

The owners were so welcoming! They bought us different local treats for breakfast every morning. There is free tea, coffee and water refill and other snacks. The place is clean. The rooms are comfy. Also easy to meet people even though it’s not a hostel. The location is also great. There are buses going everywhere from the bus stop that is just a minute walk away. Also very close to all sightseeing spots and to the ferry that goes to Penang Sentral.

Housed in a beautifully restored heritage building, this guesthouse seamlessly blends historic charm with modern comfort. The rooms were impeccably clean and exuded comfort, with plush beds ensuring a restful night's sleep. The common areas were equally impressive, with stylish decor and well-appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Despite being open for only two weeks, the owner were incredibly helpful and informative, offering valuable tips for exploring the area. Located in the heart of George Town, the guesthouse is conveniently situated within walking distance of numerous restaurants, cafes, and attractions. Overall, my experience at Aayu Melayu was wonderful, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Penang.

I arrived out of Borneo and was provided a glorious house near love lane, Penang. It is glorious no question. Superb bed , shower , kitchenette. Next to bars , breakfast bars , cafes. It is inconceivable that every time I come to Penang I won't desire to stay there ! So it's 10/10 from me. Ill return without question.
