The staff were courteous and the breakfast was included which I liked and appreciated. It was also not bad at all. The staff also assisted with my requests for water

The property was clean and welcoming. The housekeeper done a great job considering she was left to do all the rooms by herself. All public areas were spotless also. Very attentive and went above to make sure I was well stocked up. very friendly indeed as were the receptionist and bar staff

The breakfast hall is more like a conference type arrangement than an intermate setting - food was ok but had better - The onsite evening restaurant was a blessing, as not much open when we arrived in this location aswell it was opened quite late
Plenty of free parking unless there is a conference on and the carpark fills up in the morning but clears out by evening

I am sorry the area was awful it was above an Indian restaurant and the corridor we had to go through was full of household rubbish and bags that were leaking the stairs were covered in grime and I have already reported on the inadequacies of the room I am trying to get a rebate but I will continue to post negative feedback until somebody contacts me with the view to sorting this out

No idea what the town is like as this was just a convenient overnight stay en route between Bournemouth and Oban. We only visited a local supermarket for fuel: Dumbarton had the best fuel prices seen on our whole trip though.

Some of it especially where the said apartments were was very run down. On the outskirts found a great hotel whose prices compared to the Loch Lomond Apartments was very competitive and offered breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable price. Also room very spacious compared to the Loch Lomond Apartments where we had a king size bed and little other room. Definitely not a place you would want to stay for 4 nights. The name suggested that all rooms were part of an apartment when in fact we have a 10 x 10 room and a cupboard for the bathroom very dingy ad no space to swing a cat. I only weigh 90 kg but totally unsuitable if disabled - cant class as a walk in shower room as requested. Don't be fooled by the word 'close' either. Its not a road where you can park your car - It is a dingy entrance up to the flats above a shop! It reminded my husband of the old tenament properties that he knew as a child. Not recommended at all

Dunbarten has a very useful train station with rides to the Glasgow city center, coming in nearly every 30minutes.
It’s a very peaceful and serene town, with a well patronized shopping center.
Stores like Asda, Argos and Dominoes pizza, help get you covered on food, groceries and household items.
Lovely place, my young son loved it. Communication from the owner was good, I’m sure we would have been able to rate her excellent had we met but entirely understand not seeing people as often as usual under current circumstances. Property had everything we needed, good selection of DVD’s while we chilled out after a few days travelling around Scotland. Very convenient for Dumbarton supermarkets.
This is a great hotel to stay when visiting the area as you have to looking for faults but as usual nothing. The staff are excellent and friendly and very attentive to your needs. We were on a room only so did not try breakfast however we ate in the restaurant in the evening, if breakfast is as good as our meal you will not be disappointed!
The location was ideal as we were near family
We were allowed our dog in the bedroom and that was a big plus. Not many hotels seem to allow that
Not much selection for breakfast
The staff did their best to make our stay a good one. Ate in the reataurant for breakfast and was satisfied. i had toast in the bedroom and was satisfied.
The hotel is 15 minutes from the Glasgow airport and it's just off the main road and very easy to get to. The car park is nice and big. The rooms are fair size. The beds are very comfy and linen clean and soft.
The place looks run down but the price for the night is appropriate. I probably wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night
The cottage was clean and we had a really comfortable stay we only saw the cottage manager, briefly but she was great. The cottages in a great location for visiting the trossachs and loch Lomond, quite near to Glasgow very near to local shopping in Dumbarton and Helensburgh.
Lovely, comfortable flat, with good facilities which helped make our stay very pleasant. Great location to travel in the beautiful local area, and secure parking round the back of the flats. Really helpful hosts who quickly responded to any questions we had.
We cannot fault, thus accommodation, we were up fir a funeral, do it wasn't a pleasure trip, but the staff where so friendly, and accommodating, the meal in the restaurant was beautiful wr cannot speak more highly about this hotel
The studio apartment was very clean and everything was new and worked properly. The bed was comfortable. The location is good, rural and close to Loch Lomond but only a few minutes drive from Dumbarton.
Everything from the awesome view to having a house rather than a hotel for a holiday, everything we needed was in the house, stayed there previously and would stay every time we visit Dumbarton.
The layout was very good and it was spacious. Good kitchen, bathroom is a good size, comfy beds. Location was good, peaceful area. It did the job for what we required.
We had our evening at the hotel and the vegetarian options were excellent and were clearly 'homemade.' Both of us were impressed by the quality of our meals.
Lovely comfortable and clean house. Very quiet area, great view and close to Loch Lomond. Everything you need kitchen wise and good internet and TV services.
Very clean and comfortable house. The kitchen was equipped with all things needed to make a meal. Wonderful view of the Dumbarton Castle. Very comfortable.
