Everything we could possibly need for our stay was available at the chalet, including tea and coffee (which was in the cupboard above the microwave). The chalet was very welcoming indeed, and extremely clean.

We loved everything about our stay. Such a lovely town with the most amazing panorama. House in general very well organised, spacious rooms and more than enough bathrooms and wc’s for a bigger family. We liked so much open kitchen with a dinning room, lovely for a bigger group to have a dinner together. Everyone been complimenting the beds and pillows, they been super comfy. Thank you for actually letting us stay, it has an incredible and unforgettable experience, literally the house is a little gem. Definitely coming again. Ps. A massive thank you for a housekeeper, she being so friendly and amazing.

Porthmadog, location was good for Snowdon, primary reason for going there. Seemed a little run down - personal opinion - didn’t have much time to look for places to eat and when we did they didn’t seem that obvious unless it was a pub or takeaway. Shame really the port is very pretty. Might be better in high season, but for me not my cup of tea.

The town is a busy little place with plenty of choices for eating out , bars etc. It a key access point for two heritage railways, and for Portmeiron. Black Rock Bay is superb, rolling dunes and sandy bay for miles. Very large holiday home resorts back onto the bay, though well hidden. So expect some very busy times and lots of families enjoying their weekends and holidays, out of season the beach is perfect for beach walks.

Great restaurant's to take your pick from.
Great restaurant's to take your pick from. A really lovely pub (The Australia) highly recommend and the Snowdonia national park on your doorstep . you can also take advantage of the main line train to do large sections of the Wales coastal path getting off and walking a section and on again at different stations, Note, please tell the conductor witch station you want to get off at as the train doesn't stop automatically at all stations.
Welsh coastal path is stunning in and around porthmadog well worth walking.

Porthmadog is a great place to stay.
Porthmadog is a great place to stay. Local shops and Tesco for shopping and petrol. Short ride to Black Rock Sands. Not to be missed. Drive on to the beach. Magical with stunning panoramic views. Ffestiniog Steam railway from the town. Portmeirion a short ride away. Stunning location. Not to be missed. Porthmadog great location for day trips out. Harlech, Snowdon, Bala, Anglesey - Beaumaris, Llandudno- pier - Great Orme, Beddgelert, Caernarfon and many more.
Excellent service and great host's. Perfect location for town. Plenty of parking available. The breakfast selection was ideal with everything you could possibly want. I had the full English that was cooked to perfection. We stayed in room 8 the large double room that was spotlessly clean with everything you needed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel that I will book again the next time I am in that area. Thanks again to the great host's.
The location is nice and quiet. It is a quaint little village with one shop and another pub. Handy for Portmeirion in particular. The food in the hotel is reasonable and well presented. The tea making facilities were good and replenished each day. Wide range of welsh gins in the bar and an excellent outside bar area which is much bigger than it looks online. Towels and linen were all of good quality and clean.
Tasteful and stylish smart decor, comfortable beds and lounge furniture and a well equipped kitchen. Plus a powerful large walk in shower. It was lovely to be able to see the Porthmadog harbour and all the comings and goings through the patio doors and from the balcony deck. Quiet area, beautiful location. We went crabbing from outside the front of the apartment over the harbour wall. Fantastic property!
I love the mix of old and new. The accommodation was like an older private hotel, maintained by themselves with wonky floors and old fire doors. Mixed with modern statements in decor.
A very modern brasserie restaurant and bar area, well decorated and food was top class in choice, presentation and quality.
The staff were so helpful .The rooms were clean, excellent shower. The restaurant and had a nice ambiance.and the staff were faultless.Good good from the restaurant and a lovely tasty full Welsh breakfast.Good location for all the amenities of Porthmadog. I look forward to staying again in the future.
Superb and spacious accommodation, recently modernized and has all the facilities we could think of. Spot on, representative, and in a good location. Includes a free parking spot in a central area of Porthmadog.
Excellent support and fast communication.
Brilliant location. Short walk into Porthmadog and Aldi across the road, but also on a circular walking route (although I only realised when I came out near the property half way round!). Comfortable and clean.
The hotel and surroundings were perfect. Everything from the lovely staff to the quality of food was just outstanding and our stay couldn’t have been better. A beautiful place and we can’t wait to visit again.
Outstanding! By far the best holiday accommodation I have stayed at in North Wales. Beautifully decorated and high quality. Really helpful host and gorgeous area to visit. Will definitely book again.
Sian, the owner, was very kind and let us have a late check out to watch the Queens funeral. It was great value for money and a great location to explore North Wales. Great Wifi. Will be back.
The location and accommodation was 1st class. We loved the nature walks around the site, with beautiful waterfalls. Great location for Porthmadog and snowdon area.
The location, the friendly staff, the tranquillity. It is very nice place to visit if you have children and want to explore North Wales. My children loved it !
location … very unusual …Portmeirion is a very special place in a beautiful location. The staff were very accommodating and personable and professional.
