We paid an upgraded price for a balcony room right on the ocean. We were given a balcony with a rooftop and peak a boo view of the ocean.
Our television only had one station
$45 charge for valet parking and they left my car unlocked in the alley most of the night.
I will not use Booking.com or recommend or go to this hotel ever again.

We enjoyed the laid back welcoming energy of the locals as well as other travelers.
Spring time was a better time for us to visit, seemed to be less busy!
We were impressed by the cleanliness' of the streets, parks and beaches as well as appreciated the free local trolley bus that took us back n forth between the south and north areas of Laguna Beach.
So many beautiful things to take in but overall we felt safe and relaxed which gave us a wonderful experience.
We will return to experience everything that we didn't have the time to!

Crowded on weekends, but one of the nicest beaches in the world. The town is being over-run with tourists and the arty vibe is suffering from this. We found the restaurants middling and very expensive. Really recommend visiting off season or during the week.

Felt very safe and there were so many interesting art galleries and eateries in town. Many people had to queue for at least half hour at Gelato Paradiso for the ice cream. We were lucky as there was no queue around 7pm.
We were travelling to Laguna Beach from Bannings. OMG, we were caught in many toll roads. Couldn't pay online as the system didn;t accept rental cars. Set your maps to non-toll roads if you want to avoid these.

We love Laguna beach’s which are stunning n the downtown is very nice with many restaurants n shops. We had breakfast at Moulins a French place which is excellent. We have frequented Laguna beach several times as we love it here. Many beautiful beaches. Heisler park is a very nice Park overlooking the water n have steps down to the coves. Laguna beach also has a free trolley which goes up the coast up to Dana point and into town. Great place!

A fun little beach town with so much to see and do!
A fun little beach town with so much to see and do! I only had one night there, but would love to go back. It's very walkable with lots of restaurants, shops and art galleries. The coast is diverse with plenty of sandy beaches and many rocky areas with tide pools as well.
The location was great, the hotel is a few minutes walk from a beautiful beach and we could even see the sea from our room. There is a lovely seating area although we didn’t get the chance to use it as we were only staying for one night and went out for dinner. The bathroom was also really nice, the shower was great and we loved the twin sinks. The shared fridge also had lots of different plant milks available which was amazing. Everything seemed clean and very safe, there’s a private car park as well which was great.
location was great… tea pot…. great hotel crisp bedding…. towels accessible … parking perfect…. actually better than a full maid service which is often annoying and makes the room
vulnerable. best…. Brie and Trenton at front desk….. i understand Sonders have unmanned front desk. lahuna Beach is an exception.. this place has Trenton and Brie and others I dont know. they were wonderful. will stay again!!!! recommending to local who have friends visiting. love Sonders!
I decided to take a trip to Laguna Beach on a whim, so I booked a last-minute hotel. The reviews and the photos of the Seaside, Laguna, Inn and suites looked beautiful, and they had a really great price so I decided to book a night here. I’m really glad I did because I loved the room that we stayed in, the location was really great and close to the water, and the staff was really friendly. I also loved the Parking was included.
The hotel is very quaint and gives you a real sense of being special. For a full hotel we ate most meals by ourselves or with maybe just one other couple. The eating area options were great. We ate at a different spot each day. Service was very personable. Food was limited, but was very good. Massage was great as well. Room had a very nice view of the Ocean and sunsets. Very beautiful grounds and fountains. Very serene.
The location was great,! The beach was right behind us and our hotel was right was in the middle of town. a quick walk to almost everything ! There was a nice patio/ deck that we could use. Hot tub was a ways away. There are several buildings in this hotel complex so I'm sure some rooms are lovely .
It is right across from a grocery store, which was nice. We loved Laguna beach !
We booked last minute (as in 7pm the day of), we were in the area and knew we needed a hotel. A Google search brought up Seven4One hotel, price was want we want to spend for a one night stay, so I booked it. Loved the hotel when we got there the idea of no TVs is awesome. We are going to return for another stay with my Daughter. Also, I can't say how much I enjoyed the "Welcome Drink" it was brilliant!
Easy walking access to what we thought was the most beautiful beach in Laguna (we saw about 10). Very friendly manager. Good beds. Blackout curtains. One of the less expensive options in town. There is a free trolley service to town and the other beaches at about 5 minutes walking distance - very convenient.
Laguna Beach was definitely one of the highlights of our California road trip.
Perfectly located boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious with lovely kitchenette’s and large fridge/freezer, the staff are incredibly helpful, free parking and across the road from a gorgeous beach. We loved that the hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas as well as throws for chilly spring evenings spent outside on the outdoor seating in front of our room. We will be back!
Friendly staff and walking distance to center of Laguna Beach.
Trolly stop was very close to the hotel.
Pool area was very nice.
Very nice towels in bathroom-better than expected.
Very difficult to carry luggage to the second floor.
The hotel amenities include ear plugs-so what does that tell you.
Bed was very comfortable but walls were very "thin."
Great location just outside the centre of Laguna Beach with a great walk through a park to a quiet cove or the town. Nice restaurants nearby. Room nicely furnished and comfortable. Pool area was pleasant with a fire pit for cooler evenings. The people who serviced our room were pleasant and efficient. Great underground convenient parking.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel owner was lovely. He really went the extra to tell us about the area. He was clearly passionate about Laguna Beach (with good reason). The room was very clean and had all the facilities that you could require. The beach was literally 5 minutes walk. You couldn't really want for more.
the view was on the water. Hotel rooms need upgrading. cracks and mold. Had to slam front door to shut closed. The price was too high for the room we were given. I appreciated the kindness and efforts made by Manny and Victoria at the Front Desk.
Having Beach chairs/ umbrella available in the room and Netflix are just icing on the cake to such a beautiful hotel and perfect location. This as been a favorite of mine even before they renovated but the renovations made it even more enjoyable!
fantastic location, free parking under the hotel, free (simple) breakfast, all day coffee, lovely staff, free use of boogy boards etc. Just a really nice and welcoming place
