Great surf club with fantastic food & it was right across the road from our accommodation. The local restaurants are amazing too.
The surf was a bit wild due to the cyclone in northern Queensland.
Very easy walking distance (1 minute) to the restaurants & shops.
Taxis are very prompt & the river & Tewantin are very handy to Sunshine Beach via taxi (Approx $25)

Good for walking.
Good for walking. At the time, perhaps due to recent storms, the surf was too rough for us to swim comfortably in.
Lots of nice little restaurants serving good coffee. Surf club did nice food but we couldn't book.
The end of Sunshine beach led up to the beginning of a headland walk to Noosa which some of us did regularly.
Community felt very safe.
The biggest disappointment for us was no air con in the third room. It was very small and also had no space for belongnings in this room which was a bit deceiving. Appreciated the staff hirning an air con for us.
The two showers also leaked on to the floors which we informed the staff about.

Sunshine Beach village has a great vibe, the surf club and restaurants were all excellent. Our favourite things were the dog beach and National Park walks.
It is a short 5 minute drive to Noosa Junction with lots more restaurants, a great IGA, shops, and easy parking.
If you want more, Hastings Street and Noosa beach is just 10 minutes away.

we lived in Noosa 15 years ago it seems to have become a rat race for overcrowding lack of parking and more people than the place can hold. that was why we went to Sunshine Beach, nice and quiet pity about the unit we chose, price was reasonable but there were cheaper and probably much cleaner and better? old surf club had been renovated and Kitchen is now run privately? was charged twice for our meal and when I went back next day I was basically accused of trying to rip them off even though I showed them both charges within minutes of each other, food was ordinary for prices being charged. Drinks where also over the top compared to other clubs and pubs.

Sunshine Beach was a really great surprise package for me.
Sunshine Beach was a really great surprise package for me. I only visited for half a day to have a quick surf but I have to say that I think it's even nicer than Noosa. The beach is huge, beautiful and pristine. The actual town itself is nice and quiet with some amazing views and great places to eat.

Quintessentially beautiful Australian beach, and quieter area. Beach is more exposed compared with Hastings Street, so sea is rougher and flagged section is often narrow. Great, but small, mix of local shops/restaurants/cafes. Enough not to have to leave Sunshine Beach, but Hastings St close enough to enjoy by car or walk if you're keen to get 12000 steps thought the Noosa National park.
Perfect location, very close to Sunshine beach and walkable to Noosa Junction. My private room was hotel quality and had impressive features (hair dryer, towels, AC, and a TV with Netflix!!). I was meeting up with friends while in Noosa so was not participating in hostel activities but it looked like they had fun events organized for guests. The hostel staff were very helpful and the hostel itself was clean and had some great amenities such as a pool, free shuttles to Noosa Junction, free use of beginner surf boards.
Location fantastic. Close to the beach 5 minutes and the village with coffee shops and cafes literally 70 metres . Sea breeze.and big open doors to a big balcony was great for this time of year. Views of the water. The unit itself has everything you need for self sufficiency. 2 beds and 2 baths. 3.3 ks walk to Noosa heads and Hastings street and 2 ks from the shopping and supermarket at Noosa. Pie shop in Noosa best ever. The fresh fish shop in Noosa had great fish for a price. The walking and beaches amazing.
Everything! The layout of the apartment is perfect for a family of 4. Kitchen is well equiped with items you would have at home. The view speaks for itself - so beautiful. Conveniently located just up from Sunshine Beach village, walking distance to both the dog beach and to where the flags are. Jodie the host is lovely and very prompt with communication. Highly recommend.
We absolutely loved our stay at 8 Nereus. The location of the property was wonderful, close to the shops and beach and only a short drive to Noosa main beach. The property itself was beautiful, clean, spacious, convenient and had all of the comforts of being at home. Plus the view out to the ocean was a bonus. We will definitely be back.
Very good location, 15 mins walk to the Noosa Junction if you are up to it , otherwise take a bus there and also to the popular Hastings Street eateries and beach next to the street. comfortable, is good size apartment for a couple . Has all the facilities including a covered car park underneath the apartment.
The stay was wonderful. The reception was very friendly and helpful with information about the area.
The view from the apartment was divine and footsteps from the beach.
Very close walk to the local shops and cafes at Sunshine Beach, and a nice easy 5 minute drive to Noosa Junction and then onto Noosa Heads.
Perfect location. Just a short walk to the beach and village. Close to the restaurants at Noosa Junction. The house is stunning! Really comfortable and the outdoor area and private pool are perfect. Will definitely be back.
The design and layout of the property was nice. The locking gates at the front were a nice touch. Parking was provided however very tight for larger vehicles. Location was a short drive to beaches and Noosa Central.
Fantastic location. Wonderful family holiday destination. The heated pool was a hit along with the games room. The room had a heap of board games for the family to play on our down time which we really enjoyed.
A lovely no frills hostel. Beautifully clean, helpful staff, close to local restaurants, shops and bottle shops. Two local bus stops to visit Noosa, Noosa Heads and other places of interest along the coast.
Nice big and clean rooms, good location for exploring both Noosa and Sunshine Beach, good pool, lovely helpful owners, comfy bed, allocated car space under shade. Enjoyed everything about our stay!
Well equiped, very - very clean, in a fantastic community, near everything in Sunshine beach and Noosa and very private. I mean, could not ask for more.
