Beautiful hotel located in picturesque location. Certain staff members were much more pleasant than others.

The location is great just a 2-3 minute walk from the main square. The staff were friendly and helpful with suggestion of restaurants for dinner and made a reservation for us. I suggest having a reservation for dinner. Parking is available at a public parking lot just below the main square and only a 5 min walk or so to the hotel. The cost was 30 euro for 24 hours. Good selection for breakfast and if weather is nice there are tables to eat in the outside garden area.
The family-run Hotel Rufolo is in the historic center of Ravello, next to the beautiful Villa Rufolo gardens. Rooms offer views of the garden or the sea.

Ravello is a perfect spot in the Amalfi Coast. It is away from the beach and the crowded towns of Amalfi and Positano but has easy access to them via the local bus network and ferries. Other beachside towns (Minori and Maiori) can be walked to with the local buses providing transport back. Being higher, Ravello has stunning views and gets lovely breezes. It is also close to the Valle delle Ferriere walk, hosts Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone and many excellent restaurants and shops. Really a perfect spot to holiday. My favourite restaurant was Le Cucina di Sofi in via Rome - honest simple tasty food, although the Garden Ristorante and Bella Vista sul Mare were also very good. There is a music festival in June each year and while I missed it, I can imagine how good it would be because the ‘stepped’ area of the town is a natural amphitheater.
Be prepared for stairs when visiting the Amalfi coast. The best places to stay involve stairs. Pack as light as possible as buses and ferries and streets are crowded and because of the stairs. I discourage driving the a Amalfi Coast. There is one major road, it is clogged from morning to night and was not built for the sizes of vehicle that use it today so is mayhem. Taxies are very overpriced. I recommend that you use the frequent buses and shuttle services instead.

Ravello is on top of the mountain and not a seaside town...
Ravello is on top of the mountain and not a seaside town like other Amalfi coast towns. There is a nice charm in the town itself. For those that don't rent a car, there is a bus that takes you to Amalfi. There are also paths that take you to Minori and Amalfi, just remember that the elevation of Ravello is at 1000ft, so walking to the other towns will require a walk back up the mountain or the use of a bus or taxi.

There are stairs everywhere, but I knew this.
There are stairs everywhere, but I knew this. Two beautiful gardens to visit. You need to be fit to stay in Ravello. There are walks around the hills. Good restaurants and a very good small supermarket/deli

Ravello is all about the views, which are incredible. The town itself is small but there are a handful of great restaurants and shops to see. If you are looking to get away from the crowds of Positano and Amalfi, this is the place.

Beautiful place.
Beautiful place. When the day-tourists arrive it becomes a bit crowded. In general it is a tourist place. Souvenir shops with overpriced ceramics and other useless items. There are some nice restaurants.
It is very difficult to get to and from Ravello with public transportation. Taxis in Amalfi charged 100 euro to go to Ravello, pure robbery. The bus takes 1½ hours from Amalfi and doesn't go often. You can walk down to Minori and Amalfi. Takes 45-60 minutes depending on fitness level. Walking up is also possible, but quite hard for the average person.

Villa Barluzzi is located close to the square with amazing...
Villa Barluzzi is located close to the square with amazing views, stunning grounds and beautiful rooms. More like a bed and breakfast, Salvatore the manager is the absolute best! He contacted us before we arrived to give some details and welcome us, took the information of our car service and was in touch with the driver while we were on route. He saw that we had everything we could possibly need. Showed us around the Villa property, brought us up to the square, to show us around and just made us feel like family. I highly recommend this beautiful place! We can’t wait to return and will definitely be staying here again.
Firstly we would like to thank the hotel reception staff for being so accommodating when we twice needed to change our dates due to the pandemic. Our friends wedding was in Ravello and was cancelled twice due to travel restrictions but Hotel Graal were very understanding. The view is stunning at the hotel and the food great. We had a lovely evening meal with spectacular views. We really liked the location too, ideally situated for public transport and a 2 minute walk to the main square.
Gemma was amazing, my flight there was a nightmare and did not get to hotel until 2am but Gemma was there put me at ease and lovely. The place itself was very authentic to Italy, Room Aircon, exceptionally clean, small fridge, large shower, very comfortable! The breakfast spread was brilliant and great coffee. It's about 10 walk to town square and 15-20min walk back but that's due to it being up a very steep hill. But the views and peace quiet up there are totally worth it!
It is very cozy place in Ravello. We decided to stay in Ravello for several days and have a day trip to Amalfi Coast. It was the best decision. Ravello was very quiet and much less crowded that other towns in Amalfi Coast. Hotel itself is very nice and lovely. Host was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was better that other B&Bs in Italy. Room was very comfortable and clean. They were cleaning it everyday.
To get to the hotel we had to walk over 100 concrete long steps and a mile with luggage to gwt to the property as it was too late for someone to help with bags at 930pm. The room had a great view but wasnt very comfortable. Breakfast was included but better to eat elsewhere. Bread and yogurt are the main options. The location itself is very central to Ravello which is a beautiful town.
The view from the hotel is incredible. The staff was excellent and friendly and spoke English, which helped us. The room was large, especially compared to other European hotels. It was clean and well-appointed. It was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was great. We really enjoyed our stay. A very sweet Ravello cat named Lucy lives at the hotel and my kids loved playing with her.
We loved the at home feel of the B&B. The view was wonderful, easy walk to Ravello and loved that the mini fridge was stocked so we could enjoy the beautiful view with a cocktail. the best part of the place was the owner, Guiseppe! He puts his heart and soul into the place and it shows. He even personally provided shuttle service for us for a reasonable fee.
The location is amazing - easy walk into Ravello, beautiful views from the hotel and pool. We were able to fully enjoy the view wile our son played in the pool. Also the staff is the nicest ever. So kind, accommodating, and they talked to my son a lot.
Anna & everyone at garden hotel were incredibly kind and helpful. She gave us local advice on best (less crowded) beaches. The food at the restaurant is also excellent if you arrive in ravello for a late dinner. Breakfast is small but homely.
The location of the hotel is excellent (very central just off the square) and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are a little dated but that’s to be expected in Ravello and I think it adds to the authentic Italian experience!
A stunning hotel with an amazing terrace. The view from our room was breathtaking .
Well located in Ravello which we loved .
The swimming pool wasn’t heated so a bit chilly .
All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Beautiful hotel with a spectacular view; location great for visit to Ravello, lovely village.
Pool area very nice
We booked the only remaining suite with own terrace which although expensive was fantastic
Lovely hotel in central Ravello. We stayed here for 4 nights as we were attending a wedding in a hotel next door.
The location is great, the rooms were very clean and Sabrina is an excellent hostess.
Hotel Giordano was centrally located in Ravello with an excellent pool. The best part was the staff at the front desk. There are not enough words to describe how helpful and courteous they were.
Location was excellent. Staff were friendly and unfailingly helpful. Food in restaurant and terrace for lunch was excellent.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone going to a wedding in Ravello.
The place is more than perfect for a stay in Ravello: Great location, super clean, has beautiful terrace, morning breakfast, and our host was the best! I am already planning to come back soon.
The hotel had a great view, wonderful food and exceptional staff. The swimming area is a great place to check out swimming in the med. The pasta in the cafe was some of the best I ever had.
