Caves Beach is a beautiful location on the coastal side of Lake Macquarie. Excellent beach and the township has all you need for a short break, with a short drive to Swansea where you can do a major shop. Caves Beach itself is a great beach for a swim and the caves are interesting to explore. We enjoyed Mawson restaurant on the Saturday night. We also spent some time driving around the local area which is very scenic with lots of parks and views.

The accommodation was great !
The accommodation was great ! With ample views, and only a short walk to the beach.
How ever I would like to put in a complaint, not about the property, but about the instructions I was given to retrieve the keys for the property by “ Port Stephan’s accommodation”
I had put in a late check in expecting to arrive to the property by 8pm at the latest, but was given the wrong instructions. I was sent and email stating that where the keys were, but an hour later I received another emailing stating other wise.
Not at all happy as I had to travel an extra 2.5 hours with a tired grumpy and hungry toddler.
We didn’t arrive to the accommodation untill 10pm.
