Cheltenham is in a beautiful part of the country, so in fairness we spent little time in the town, however there were plenty of restrants, coffee bars and individual shops, we were very fortunate with the weather and spent a lovely afternoon in the central park which had plenty of facilities for all ages.

Cheltenham is a lovley town. I am bias as I grew up here. Of course I did not appreciated it as a child but going back is always a pleasure. The prom, Montpelier, Pitville park to stroll and feed the ducks (also an amazing playground for children now) Great shops, restaurants and ambiance. My partner and I really enjoyed Cheltenham, we went out to the town hall for a great Motown night, then we had drinks in a local bar that was full of very friendly people of all ages groups. Our accommodation for the night was great in every way, the staff was very welcoming and it's a perfect location for easy access to the town center. The most wonderful thing was the steam punk, Georgian decor vibe in the beautiful room and hotel. Loved reception with spa water, cookies, and gin and pantry with supplies to purchase. Room and bath was not only luxurious, but large and comfortable with long windows and double sinks, bottled water and well stocked coffee and tea supplies. The apartment was very clean and everything we needed was provided, the toilet is very close to the door so you kind of had to shuffle around but no major inconvenience plus the shower was spacious, hot and powerful enough to leave you feeling clean.
