Hotel is nice and clean, the main factor of a revisit is how great the staff are. Sian, Bethan and Jason were all amazing. So friendly polite and very professional. Only greeted at breakfast briefly by several other staff members but again all lovely people.
With easy access to both Central Swansea and the Gower Peninsula, Mercure Swansea Hotel has stylish rooms and a lakeside location.

Nice room backed onto the courtyard on the first floor. Clean and tidy, however, the sink was cracked. Always seem to get hotel rooms with cracked sinks. Quiet location backs onto a small lake. Nice surroundings, so we could give our dog a short walk and play. No air-conditioning. However, windows open, and a fan is provided to cool the room. No lift, but no issues.

The receptionist on arrival was very lovely on arrival and the lady that sorted the breakfast in the morning was also very nice.

Only thing I didn't like was walking into the pub to get my room key as I wasn't dressed for a night out and was only using the room to make it easier for Swansea half marathon. Staff member was pleasant, the room was huge bed very comfy and nice hot water for my shower. I slept with earplugs and didn't hear anything.

Very comfy bed, clean and pleasant bedroom and bathroom. Good self-catering breakfast facility in room, with fridge, kettle toaster, egg cooker and supplies.
Very quiet, rural location with lovely views and dark skies.
Although this was just an overnight stay, I lived in the area years ago and there are a lot of beautiful and interesting places to visit in the area.

The bunkhouse is spotlessly clean & very well situated on the edge of fabulous walking country but with easy access to all the amenities in Pontardawe. Phil is a most amenable host & knowledgeable about the local area which has a rich heritage. It was perfect for us to come back & relax in our comfortable room after a day out exploring. We would definitely return as it was such a convenient,welcoming place to stay & great value for money.
The house was set in amongst a beautiful garden in a quiet location. The house had been throughly cleaned and was finished to a very high standard. Even though the house was set back from Pontardawe centre, it was in a great location to get around to South Wales, visiting both Rhossili bay and the mumbles.
