The staff are very helpful. Two ladies saw me with a heavy suitcase and carried it downstairs for me.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the apartment is very nicely updated and decorated in the interior. Has a very good range of appliances and utensils to cook for yourself. Nice big tv, but bring an hdmi cable if you want to connect your laptop for streaming movies. The location is perfect for spending time around the lake. Seemless self check in with lockbox.

Central location and attention to details. Whole appartment keeps the style of local 'Arbatine' concept (which might not play any special role for younger generation which I'm considering myself beeing part of), but yoi have to admit and appreciate that owner put a lot of effort to showcase that. Also we were upgraded to better room (instead of double room we've got an appartment with kitchen, etc). Room had all required amenities and was clean

A beautiful, cozy, tidy, quiet town surrounded by nature. There is much to see around.
The observation tower, surrounded by beautiful nature, can be walked around.
Biržai Castle, where you can also eat (Pilies skliautai). It looks very luxurious and antique.
Astrava Palace, which can be reached both by car and on foot. The Astrava Palace can be reached on foot from the city center via the pedestrian bridge. Beautiful views.
In the restaurant "Beer Road" you can not only have a delicious meal, but also book a tour.
There is a very cozy Biržai teahouse in the city center. It has a large selection of teas, coffees and a variety of treats. You will also see the Antique Teapot Gallery.
Of course there is much more to see in Biržai.

We ate at the Alaus Kelias restaurant twice and once in the Birzai castle. Both were quite nice. I don't recommend the dried cheese starter though, it would better suit mice.
The Birzai open market place was interesting, lots of sellers. We went there on Thursday, don't know if it's open every day. The castle museum is worth a visit, unfortunately the guides don't speak English.
The Cafe Sucre was nice, service in English too.

We came there for the watch tower in Kirkilai but there is much more to do around Birzai itself. One of the attractions is beer brewery- you can take a tour explaining the processing of beer and tasking of the variaty of beer produced by Birzai Alus.
