Great service. Fantastic staff who were very polite and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They have a service where they have partnered with a trike driver who will take you to the whale shark tour and guide you. Our driver Gomar was fantastic and made the entire experience very enjoyable. Great view from the restaurant area - we managed to catch the sunrise and it was beautiful. They also help you catch the ceres bus back if required.

Having at least 2 days in Oslob can be recommended but 1 day is good as well if you plan it properly. The timings for Whale shark watching are very early and should be done early as well to enjoy the best views and cleaner water. Oslob is a lovely island, with plenty of nature and interesting views. La Terrasse is a restaurant almost in front of Whale shark watching, and definitely worth checking. Excellent menu! To get around, best way is trying tricycles, as they have best prices. It’s also worth visiting the city, where the cuartel is located. Swimming with the whale 🐋 shark (Butanding) was out of this world. Amazing!!! A visit to Tumalog Falls was worth it. In Oslob town, we visited the old Church, Carter, Baluarte and the park near the sea with the townspeople were having a leisure.

Very nice location you can do the whale sharks one day and the second day Tumalog falls and sumilon island. It’s a great stop off for 2/3 days. Bus ride down from Cebu is ok about 300 each way and takes about 5 hours buses run every 20-30 minsAmyUnited Kingdom

It was just ok for sleeping two people in two single beds. The toilet is clean as well. It is located by the highway but it wasn't noisy. It was a convenient location for going to Cebu. We just hailed a bus across the hotel. The tricycle fare is just 15 pesos going to the Cuartel Ruins which is really nice and also to Gaisano Mall to buy stuff. The staff also was helped us in booking a tricycle to Oslob for our early morning whale shark watching.MaricorPhilippines

Hotel in general was funky, decent food and lots of places to sit and enjoy the ocean view. They have a refill station for water at a minimal cost and just 10 mins walk into town. Also some steps down to the ocean. Our room was clean, good size, great WiFi and nice hot shower. Also some place to put things and a chair. We also had the balcony with table and chairs. The ceres line bus from Bato dropped us off outside the front door.

Maria at the hotel sorted everything for us from our transport to the whale shark swimming and the waterfall trip. The staff were so lovely and were ready to help with everything. The view from the hotel is beautiful your room is right on the sea. The food and drinks are amazing, they do the best iced coffee! For anyone staying in Oslob I would recommend staying here it was perfect.

The room with sea view has a big balcony with a direct view on the sea and it was perfect to see the sunrise and have some rest in front of the sea. The owners are very kind and friendly. They gave very good advices on activities around, helped us to book our activities (whale shark and kawasan falls etc). We highly recommend this warm pension house that is very well maintained and well located in Oslob.

The hosts are very kind helpful. They will wake you up at 3:00 AM to be the first people in line for the whale shark spotting. Yes, you read that right. 3:00 AM. The first boat out is at 6:00 AM and we were on it so it was worth the early rise.
