The staff were all so lovely, and the bed was so comfortable. We had lunch at the restaurant which exceeded our expectations, the service was a 10 of 10.

The cabin was very, very small and basic. That was a bit of a shock. But I only needed a bed and somewhere to eat, and most importantly, I needed a place that allowed my small dog. The bed was quite comfortable, the park tidy, with friendly people and staff around. That also meant a lot to me.
So I will stay there again, I'm more prepared now about the room size, and I feel it's a safe place for me and my dog.

The staff were lovely and helpful and the rooms and facilities were fairly basic but fine. It was good to have a laundry and cooking facilities plus having the golf course at the back property was a bonus for eating out. The pool and general ambience were nice.

Alice Springs is a city with many problems that only they can resolve, however it is the closest place to Uluru to fly to from most cities in Australia. The Doubletree nextdoor would be a much more desirable place for many travelers to spend a night. If staying longer, there are many interesting attractions, including a world-class animal preserve, to enjoy. The advice many Australians gave us was to avoid downtown. I would concur. We needed to do some grocery shopping prior to driving to Uluru, so we had no choice.

A place on the decline.
A place on the decline. Very few local businesses still open or operating. Few options other than pub meals available. Drinks in local bars very expensive. Do not go out on your own in town after 2100 hrs. Be prepared to be humbugged by the local indigenous people. Thought I was travelling through parts of South Africa with high fences and barbed wire. Can't see myself returning again, there's no reason.

First we visited the Town's Information center, Staff were excellent and provided all information we needed for our 3 day tour, Places we visited , West and East Macdonald ranges, Anzac Hill / Tower, There are lots of Gauges and natural landscapes are breathtaking,
There are places you can eat, and buy things that you need ,
but make sure to carry sufficient liquor as only 3 days that bottle shops are opened, and limited hours,

It was a nice town that has been effected by covid - not as bustling as it used to be with most shops on Todd Mall closed down but there are efforts underway to revitalise which will be great - fantastic to see all the local art

LOCALS ARE GREAT. THE TOWN IS GREAT. VERY RELAXED.
LOCALS ARE GREAT. THE TOWN IS GREAT. VERY RELAXED. JUST AVOID THE WHINGERS RUNNING HOTELS AND ANYONE NOT BORN IN AUSTRALIA. THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO SCARE AND PUT FEAR INTO VISITORS FOR NO GOOD REASON AND DO NOT EMPLOY ANY AUSTRALIANS.
This is a pleasant hotel close to the town centre. There's a lot to like- nice surrounds and trees,, good car parking, nice pool, restaurant onsite with outside seating aswell. I had a lovely meal and breakfast there. Staff were lovely and helpful. An average room, the bathroom was great-updated, good shower pressure. The room was quiet too, I couldn't hear tv's or voices from other rooms. The place has everything you need for a stay in Alice Springs.
Being able to park at the door to my room was appreciated as were the security gates that were kept closed at night. The room was compact and clean though I found some frozen chicken pieces in the freezer compartment of the fridge.
The bed was comfortable enough and the air conditioner and fan were great.
The courtyard area outside was a bonus for my two small dogs. This property is one of the few in Alice Springs that allow pets to stay.
We stayed at the Mercure for a night either side of hiking the Larapinta Trail. The hotel was clean and the room spacious. The staff were generally friendly but seemed to be mainly new employees who still had a lot to learn about the hotel and were quite slow with the check in/check out processes. The food in the restaurant was ok, not spectacular but ok. The hotel is a little out of town but we didn't mind the 10 minute walk.
The hostel is probably the most unusual I've ever been to but that's exactly what makes it so awesome and memorable. I literally slept in an old-fashioned trailer which wasn't big but for a night or two it's all I need :) The kitchen was clean and there was enough space in the garden to just hang around. If I ever come back to Alice Springs I'll definitely check in here again :)
Great facilities, I was only there for a night in a female-only room and had access to female-only showers and a bathroom. Felt very safe, comfortable, and very clean! Great vibes, hammocks, fairy lights, and a pool! Staff were very friendly and eager to help when asked about any recommendations or requests! Highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Alice Springs! :)
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, particularly the managers. Anna went out of her way to accommodate me despite late unplanned arrival.
I’ve been travelling solo for nearly 3 months now, staying exclusively in backpacker / hostel accommodation and the YHA at Alice Springs is head and shoulders above anywhere I have stayed.
Thank you and best wishes.

Stayed here on two occasions; 3 nights and later one night.
Great location right next to supermarkets, restaurants and other shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. Car parking in a secure compound is great.
The facilities provided are great.
Overall a great place to stay in Alice Springs.
An absolute gem in Alice Springs. We stayed 3 nights and it was the perfect accommodation to commence our travels in The Red Centre. Informative hosts, super comfortable beds, squeaky clean, sumptuous breakfasts, super relaxing outdoor areas, beautiful pool......
easy self check in, easy self check out, flexible in extending check out time, washer + drying lines in yard + small dryer rack indoors , spacious studio for a family, hot water shower , short distance to everything relevant in and around alice springs
Excellent stay in Alice Springs. Well located and well furnished. Lovely pool (not heated). BBQ facilities and laundry (not free of charge). Family room good for 5 persons. Terrasse. Parking on-site. Quiet and clos to the golf course. We loved it!
The hotel had good rooms, that were serviced daily.
The hotel was located centrally in Alice Springs with access to Todd Mall and local restaurants.
Under-cover and safe parking was available and very beneficial.
I liked the “home setting” in Alice Springs. I LOVED the owners, Kathy and Carl. The swimming pool and the beautiful lawn and the fresh eggs from the pet chickens just added to the fun of “Kathy’s Place.”
Good area, and the grounds of the caravan park are very nice. This is our second stay there (first was in a caravan which is why we returned). Apart from the people next to us, it was very quiet
Amazing location only half an hour from Alice Springs (but 4-wheel drive car needed to go there). Really able to experience staying in the Australian outback.
Very nice people working there.
