The motel is well located, not far from Anita's Theatre. Although needing a bit of an update, our room was well-appointed with all that guests need - hair dryer, iron, breakfast cereals, crockery, cutlery, milk and other useful items.

Area I stayed in was OK.
Area I stayed in was OK. Couldn't find a big restaurant / bar area. Scenic views included a great view of chemical plant and refinery. Look in estate agent windows and could not see why people are paying $4M to be that close to them. Steamers nice, but don't pay their prices for a steak. Marble&grain 300m away-better quality&price.

We were there for a hockey tournament so we didn't get to see much of Wollongong. Also there was an extreme weather event while we were there so we couldn't get down to the waterfront in the time we had available between games.

Yes, I would recommend Wollongong for the experience: the streets are filled with homeless persons at night and roaring with street cars. Nonetheless, I was not subjected to any acts of violence or intimidation. It appears that everyone is minding their own business. Skydiving with a nearby company provided me with an unforgettable experience amidst the beautiful coastline of Wollongong and its beaches. The beaches in Wollongong are immaculate and an excellent location to swim. Although the food is ordinary, it is well worth the time to dine at one of the many waterfront restaurants. For visitors in their 20s, Friday and Saturday night seem to have a pretty good nightlife. If you find yourself near Fever Night Club, chances are that you will have people approach your for drugs or of purchasing of drugs. Just say 'no' and they will leave you alone. They are generally polite about it.

Wollongong has a large range of things to do from skydiving onto North Beach, surfing and swimming at the beach, fishing and everything you want to do at the beach. There is a large shopping plaza in the heart of Wollongong. You can also jump on the freeway south to Kiama, Gerringong, Berry and be there within half an hour. Beautiful spots to visit and great restaurants.

Wollongong has changed so much in the last 20 yrs and it has everything you need.Lots of great cafes and restaurants and clubs to choose from. The Wollongong beach area and foreshore area are excellent to swim, walk and have a coffee or fish and chips from Levendis. So it's a great place to stay for a few days as there are lots to do.
Location was perfect, the room was a lot more dated than it looked in the picture. The bed was small, it may have been a large double or small queen, these days all hotels should have king size. Staff were excellent and we were able to walk for something to eat and watch the footy. The tv took a bit of working out and the room was very clean. Had a balcony which we really liked. There is a cafe in the hotel which was great for takeaway coffee in the morning.
Very comfortable, good price, great location. Everything needed to enjoy a comfortable stop over. Great guest book with lots of suggestions for food, things to do, walks etc. Paid the same price here then I would have done for a ‘cheap’ motel in Wollongong and this was much much better and only 15mins into Wollongong, with lots of parking available at Stuart park! Very easy!
Everything was great, staff friendly, meal was great. Hotel has a separate entry so no noise, or pub customers not a problem at all. FREE parking no where is far for Wollongong so great location for lots of day trips. Not walking distance to the beach though, just a short drive.
Location of the hotel is excellent - directly opposite Wollongong Boat Harbour and a short walk to the main city beach, cafes, salt water swimming pools and surf club. The free city loop bus stop is 2 mins walk. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds.
I must say that Wollongong Serviced Apartments are great. They are located only two blocks from the main shopping street and just a 10 minute walk from the beach. The apartment is big enough for two and you can park your car in the basement.
Friendly staff, clean cabins, comfortable beds & our kids enjoyed the swimming pool, spa & the golf.
This was our fourth time staying in the resort and we loved it even more, and I’m sure we will be back soon.
Thank you WSLR.
Hotel was only 1hr drive from Sydney, and only a 5 min walk to shopping center and beach. Liked having a larger fridge in the room instead of the usual bar fridge. The beaches are clean and patrolled.
Dog friendly hotel. The room was spacious and clean! And they offer parking too. Only $15 per night. Also close to restaurants and sight seeing places in Wollongong.
