After spending time in many hostels over the past 3 months, I can confidently say that Adventure has been the best hostel I have stayed in. Anna, Jeanne, Eilish and Miles really make you feel at home and are always on hand if you have any queries. Their hard work almost goes unnoticed as they always have a smile on their face throughout the day. Thank you for making my experience of Queenstown the best it could have been & for anyone visiting, I could not recommend this hostel enough!

Perfect! The beds were sooo cozy with the curtains! The location is perfect! It’s kinda nice to be a walk away from town because it makes it quite quiet!! Kitchen is big and clean!

El millor és la localització. Està al bell mig de Queenstown i no necessites el cotxe per res. El preu és molt bo comparant amb llocs propers. És un youth hostel, però té habitacions familiars amb dutxa i lavabo pròpies. La cuina estava prou neta, amb molt bones vistes. Té rentadora i assecadora de pagament al mateix local. Tampoc massa soroll per ser un youth hostel.

Absolutely love it! Perfect location, 1 min away from bus stop and supermarket, 2 mins to the burger shop. The room is clean, bed is comfortable and hot water supply is stable. It also has a spacious storage area for suitcase.

I opted for a shared room, and I was delighted to find it clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was plush and inviting, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring Queenstown's myriad attractions. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views that greeted me each morning. Waking up to the sight of Lake Wakatipu shimmering in the sunlight was a true delight, and I often found myself lingering on the savoring the tranquility of the surroundings. In addition to its idyllic location, Lakeside Backpackers offers a range of amenities to enhance your stay. The communal areas are tastefully furnished, providing the perfect setting to unwind and socialize with fellow travelers. Whether you're enjoying a cup of coffee in the backyard, there's no shortage of opportunities to relax and recharge.

Room is big and the bed is very comfortable! Staff was very friendly and helped with check in even though we were very late due to flight delay and the wait for public bus. Good evacuation plans in case of fire. Many evacuation routes available depending on where you are. The door of every room is a smoke door so it is tight and heavy. 1 shower room (with toilet) and 1 toilet. Good especially if you need the toilet and 1 is occupied.
