Grand Suites Lake Tekapo is set in Lake Tekapo. Featuring a terrace, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Walking distance to all of the restaurants and supermarket, property was clean and equipped with details like heated towel racks and heated bathroom floors that made the experience even better. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Situated in Lake Tekapo, 46 km from Mt. Dobson, Galaxy Boutique Hotel features accommodation with a shared lounge and free private parking. Everything about our stay was perfect. View is great, bathtub is lovely and very smartly designed with the glass. Tastefully designed and felt like luxury. The soap/shampoo/conditioner/body balm was super luxurious as well - made me go google on where I can buy it from. We were here on our honeymoon and they went the extra mile with rose petals and chocolates and towels folded to look like swans. Staff was really sweet and she helped us move our luggages up the slope to our room on level two, explained how everything worked. Breakfast was great - with cooked eggs (scrambled or fried) and bacon and grilled tomato and hashbrown etc, made to order when youre in the dining room (you can also opt to have it served in your room). The Godley Hotel offers country-style accommodation in the alpine village of Lake Tekapo on the South Island. The hotel is centrally located in the village with views of the lake and mountains. the views were stunning. very quaint township

MacKenzie Country Hotel is located in Twizel, in the heart of the Aoraki Mount Cook and MacKenzie Country Region. It offers modern rooms with picturesque views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfast was REALLY good! Not complimentary but a great selection and everything was quite tasty.

The Heritage Gateway Hotel is situated in Omarama, at the crossroads of MacKenzie Basin, Lindis Pass and Waitaki Valley. It offers panoramic views and excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Hot breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip to New Zealand. Can’t say enough how great the staff was!

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. I like the apartment how does it look, I like that it was sarounded by the mountains,,and you can hear the sounds of birda. Absolutely, I can recommend it.!

Situated in Lake Tekapo and only 44 km from Mt. Dobson, Flat Rock features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden views. This was a great place in Lake Tekapo. The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.
