New in 2019, this 5-star boutique hotel is ideally located on Victoria Street in the city of Christchurch, amongst a variety of cafes, restaurants and bars. Our stay at the hotel was fantastic from start to finish. We received a lovely welcome dessert on arrival as it was our honeymoon; the room was fantastic in terms of facilities and overall quality/comfort; the nearby gym and complimentary on-site laundry were a great convenience; and the food in the restaurant was also great. Most importantly, the reception manager Abhishek saved our day by helping to defrost our car so we could get to the train station on time, and was good-humoured even while we were very stressed. A top-class hotel all round!

Awesome town, one of my top in the South Island. If you like nature and outdoor activities, this is your place! Water activities in the lake, roads to cycle, trails to bike, mountains to hike, Queenstown 1h-awesome-drive away... endless! Lots of campers, great vibe in town, is not big but has just enough facilities to be comfortable.
