Situato nel centro di Kyoto, a 1 km dal Tempio Sanjusangen-do e a meno di 1 km dal TKP Garden City Kyoto, il Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei offre gratuitamente il WiFi e un parcheggio privato. Tutto bellissimo. Graevolissimi i padroni di casa. Camera bellissima. Comoda location.

The owner (I think) perfectly speaks English - very rare in Japan even in hospitality - and is extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. All amenities provided, delicious breakfast

Lo Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in occupa un tempio buddista millenario che offre sistemazioni in stile giapponese, uno splendido giardino e, gratuitamente, il WiFi e la possibilità di partecipare alle... I had so many expectations and Ekoin delivered everything. The temple itself is gorgeous, it is over 1.000 years, but so well kept, just impecable tatamis, garden, paintings, artwork. Also, it is so close to Okunoin cementery...i loved this part of town, so calm, feels like another time. The shared restrooms were a concern before getting there, but they ended up being one of the best of our entire trip - the bath is at the onsen, but is was ok for a day. Also, they provide a guide book to temple etiquette/schedules -just READ IT, do not go to morning service wearing yukata and do not arrive late. The monks are kind enough to let it go, but it is very disrespectful. The food is great, even though we are not vegetarians, we loved shojing ryori! And our favourite part was the morning service and the goma/fire ritual, do not miss it.

Esperienza fantastica in un tempio buddista, assolutamente da provare almeno una volta nella vita. Il monaco della reception sempre sorridente e gentile. Cena e colazione abbondanti a base di verdure e cibo vegano.

Offering a garden and garden view, 高野山 宿坊 龍泉院 -Koyasan Shukubo Ryusenin- is set in Koyasan, 45 km from Matsushita Park and 48 km from Subaru Hall. Ottima occasione di relax nella natura, molto apprezzata la vasca di acqua bollente dopo una giornata di camminata. Cena vegetariana e colazione da provare. Bellissima esperienza

Situated in Koyasan in the Wakayama region, 宿坊 光明院 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Everyone there was wonderful, willing to help even with the language barrier. The dinner and breakfast were delicious (if you stay more than one night, note that you'll eat the same dinner and breakfast) The room and all the temple was super clean and calm. It was a great place to stay! I really love the ceremonies that I could witness, meditation in the evening, morning ceremony and goma ceremony (fire ceremony). The one thing I was surprised by is that the showers are "Onsen Showers" so it's in a commun room, with little stools where you can clean yourself before entering the bath. Not a negative point, just something I wasn't expecting. Thanks to all the staff there for a wonderful stay!

清浄心院 is situated in Koyasan, 45 km from Matsushita Park, 47 km from Subaru Hall, and 49 km from Jigenin Temple. It is set 39 km from Kishi Station and features full-day security. I have stayed in quite a few places in Japan but this is my favorite for so many reasons: - You are staying in a temple monastery and you can see and feel that everywhere. You are staying in a piece of history. - the graveyard is one minute walking away (I went there three times in different times of the day) - you get a free tour of temple, can attend the morning prayer and a fire ceremony - the staff was super kind and some spoke very good English - I could check in early - the food is something very different than usual - there is an Onsen instead of a traditional shower room (bathing hours are limited see below) - the wifi is good

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 祇園の宿 杏花 is located in Kyoto, 300 metres from Gion Shijo Station and 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Ryokan tradizionale, gestito da personale gentilissimo e disponibile ad ogni richiesta, silenzioso anche se in centro al quartiere di Gino, spaziosa la stanza con un angolo giardino, grandissimo bagno con Onsen privato, una meraviglia!

Situato a Shirahama, a 200 m dalla spiaggia di Shirahama e a 1,2 km dalla spiaggia di Ezura, lo Shirahama no Yado Daigo offre la connessione WiFi gratuita in tutte le aree. The hostess (who's also the owner) was a very nice and friendly person. Breakfast was complimentary and the hostess even made breakfast by herself to guests every morning and it was delicious! The room is equipped with tatami floor and was super clean. There was no bed but instead futon was provided and you need to set it up by yourself at night which was interesting. It was a special experience to get a chance to sleep in a Japanese futon. If you don't know how to set it up they will help you too. The bathroom is big and equipments were new. The hotel is within 5 minutes walk to the beach. It's also close to a bus stop which takes you to surrounding sightseeing places. There are convenient store and supermarket within walking distance and you can buy fireworks there to play at the beach at night. If we come back to Shirahama in the future we will choose to stay here again.

Situato a Kyoto, a 2 km dal Castello di Nijo, il Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St. offre un ristorante, un giardino e la vista sul giardino. Struttura completamente ristrutturata, piena di confort, pulitissima e super accogliente. Ha mantenuto comunque la tradizione, quasi un tuffo nel passato.
