Quiet location, very easy walk to a supermarket, and extremely cosy place to sleep. 30 minute walk to town or easy taxi ride using Uber or similar local apps (or the taxi rank by McDonalds). There's a great kitchen which helps reduce eating out costs which can be steep in Rovaniemi for a family, and an excellent shower. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property without reservation.

Kids had alot of freedom and were able to roam around safely in the woods and in the snow at the front of the cabin. We used the sledges they had available and cross country skis. My husband and I did the sauna and ice dip which was brilliant fun. Kitchen facilities were pretty basic but the cabin was super warm and cosy - they have a little kota available that we cooked sausages on Had a husky ride with korvala. My husband and I ended up each mushing a dog sled each which was amazing. We had a kennel tour and was nice to see how loved and cared for the dogs were as this was a major decision in going to korvala.

Perfect spot to admire nature and to see some auroras. Very peaceful.

Our flight got canceled so we booked this villa for 6 people only for a night. We really liked the villa, it's very spacious, very very clean, well equipped and beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend if you have a rented car :)

The nearest airport is Ivalo Airport, 26 km from Villas Karhunpesä. The house was lovely and modern and equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Little touches like the Christmas tree and having dishwasher tablets and detergents to use etc made a self catering stay a lot easier with a family. The house is a little way from the town centre if you are walking (as it’s very cold) but We had a car and it took 5 minutes and we loved the fact it was secluded and quiet but we could easily reach where we needed to go by car.
